Geek Android Apps

Wireless and networking apps I use on my Sprint HTC evo 4G because they are free. I use these tools for wireless site surveys and penetration testing demos…

Root: unrEVOked 3.21
Recovery:
ROM: Myn’s Warm TwoPointTwo

Wigle Wifi
A wardriving app to netstumble, display and map found wireless networks, easily uploading to the wigle.net database.

This application allows people (who are running a port knock daemon) to send TCP or UDP packets to the specified ports.

Network Discovery
Computer/device discovery and port scanner for local area network.

Network Info II
Shows info about the phone and the net connection. It also shows the public/external IP & hostname. Only goes online to get and resolve the public IP via whatismyip.org or, if it is down, my own server aschillings.co.uk/myscripts/getip.php.

Shark for Root
Traffic sniffer, works on 3G and WiFi (works on FroYo tethered mode too).
To open dump use WireShark or similar software, for preview dump on phone use Shark Reader.
Based on tcpdump. Please leave comments/send e-mail if you have any problems/suggestions.
